I try so hard not to bite on Mexican Twitter antagonistically
Today I failed. A guy saw Santi Giménez score a goal today and immediately claimed that he had reclaimed his throne as the best 9 in CONCACAF.
Um. What?
Pepi is the leading scorer in the Eredivisie, with the majority of his minutes coming off the bench.
He has the same number of goals in the UCL (1) this season, in a lot less minutes.
That's not to even bring up Jonathan David, who has 6(!!!) goals in the UCL this year, and 11 in Ligue 1.
At this point it seems delusional. Wishful thinking
