Sure, I'd like to upgrade the QB position but it isn't going to happen. Jake did more than well enough that nobody on the current roster is going to take over his role.

No big name transfer in the portal is going to consider BYU with a successful returning starter on the roster. It would take crazy amounts of NIL money and playing time guarantees to make that happen and we know that won't happen.

I'm still uneasy about the depth behind him right now. The only person with known capabilities is Hillstead. So if Jake ever got injured, who knows where we'd be.

But knowing Jake is the guy going forward, I hope they put in extra time this year working on his mental game. Specifically, help him better deal with blitz situations. If he can better handle those situations Jake will take another huge leap forward.
