I have a hunch that health, not money, will determine what he does next.
Keep in mind he hasn't even been coming down out of the press box at halftime. My guess is he's under strict instructions to keep his stress level at a minimum for a while.
Maybe he's ready to go now. However, if hired by USU, he will need to hit the ground running in the very near future. It's not going to be a stress-free environment.
One other factor is USU's current athletic director orchestrated a power move to get rid of their Blake Anderson, Jerry Bovee, and a couple of other people in the athletic departement. While I can't comment on Anderson the others that were fired are highly regarded in athletic circles. It's possible that someone like Hill, who knows all the people involved, might not want to coach for that particular athletic director.
