FSU's season is over, so they have nothing else to do but work on how to get out.
Miami might get left out (SHOULD be left out) of the CFP, so ACC only gets (should only get) 1 team.
The ACC's top team in newcomer SMU, who is really really really getting a rotten deal on the ACC money. So do they start to say "hey, you know, if this is about performance incentives ...."
North Carolina is looking for a new coach, which is going to be BIG BUCKS, but probably they don't have to money to compete with SEC and BigTen.
AND, the ESPN contract deadline is looming close....
It's a nasty time for the ACC once there is no more ACC football to distract....
