the rules for how they were to make it were spelled at perfectly at the beginning of the season and at the end of the day, BYU has no one to blame but themselves for not meeting the objective criteria for the championship. People would be way more accepting of the selection process if they drop the secretiveness, "eye test", and other subjective BS and opinions and just had hard, cold objective criteria spelled out for everyone to know.
