BYU has known forever the deck is stacked. They’ve been on the unfair end for all but one year in the last century.

All they needed to do was beat a middling Kansas team at home. All they needed to do was to score 18 points against a middling defense. They lost their focus, drive, determination or whatever you want to call it and it brought about calamity. Then, of course, it carried over for a half against ASU. Neither team did more for BYU to lose than BYU did to itself.

So, the committee is wholly and forever biased in favor of two conferences. Everybody knows that. They don’t try to hide it. BYU knew that going in, and they literally dropped the ball.


Surprisingly good season? Yes.
Super fun and entertaining? Yes.
A huge letdown and disappointment at what could/should have been. Absolutely,
