In the 3 games they won, Zeon Chriss threw less than 20 passes, and ran for over 50 yards. In the last 2 games they’ve lost, he threw over 20 passes and rushed for less than 50 yards.
If BYU can shut down the run and limit his scrambling, that should force them to throw a lot and he doesn’t do well in high volumes of passing. Against Kstate he went 11 out of 11 on his passes, but only for 103 total yards, which I think we could live with.
And given the chilly temperature late night in Provo in late November, they are probably going to try running more. Hopefully the defense is up to the challenge of stopping it.
