The timelines about human development/evolution keep getting older
Every year or two the timeline about when homo sapiens first developed, migrated to different spots on Earth gets older.

Americas - It'd been assumed for a generation that the first humans came to America via the land bridge 10,000 to 13,000 years ago. It now appears it could be as long as 23,000 years ago (and some think far longer). https://news.berkeley.edu/2023/10/05/tests-confirm-humans-tramped-around-north-america-more-than-20-000-years-ago/

Southeast Asia - It also appears they migrated out of Africa and into SE Asia far sooner than originally thought. There is evidence of homo sapiens in SE Asia 86,000 years ago. It was previously thought to be 50,000ish years ago - https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonian-institution/thirteen-discoveries-made-about-human-evolution-in-2023-180983512/

It's fascinating that the timeline keeps pushing deeper and deeper into the past.
