My posting history will show I've never been a huge fan. But, I think he's actually getting worse.

I was road-tripping Saturday afternoon and had to listen to the whole game on the radio. At times it was painful.

His obsession with inane stats is now totally out of hand. It takes up an unacceptable portion of his broadcast.

When it came to describing the action on the field, he either took forever to talk around what was happening (so the result of a five-second play wasn't revealed until about 10 seconds after it ended), or he gave no description whatsoever and just stated the outcome like he was reading ESPN gametracker - "Handoff and Martin gains five."

Hans was brilliant, though. Maybe my favorite color guy. I hope he sticks around.
