1) Pay the man and keep him.

2) Deal with the fact that good coaches leave for what may/may not be better positions, and sometimes even $$$ won't keep them because it is that drive and excellence that makes them pursue other opportunities.

3) Hire Nick Howell back, and we will never have to complain about somebody poaching our DC ever ever EVER again.

In short, having people after your coaches is a good problem to have. I think Jay Hill would be nuts to take the USU job, but if he did a great job there, he would be legend in Ogden, and he would be in line for a P4 job in a couple of years.
