After seeing the videos of the post game taunting the players / coaching staff got as they walked off the field, a good friend of mine (and huge Michigan fan, not LDS) texted me this morning:

This could have been so bad, this had the making of Malice at the Palace if it was against anyone other than BYU.

When I laughed at his text, he replied:

You laugh but I’m dead serious. It doesn’t go like this [smoothly, no massive brawl with the taunting fans] with any other team in college football.

Of course, no one in the media will praise us for our restraint, they’ll just keep showing the post TD signing of the football by skattebo.
