Being a BYU fan is extremely disheartening. The program (minus 1984) has always and will continue to let you down when it matters most. They know the perfect time to rip your heart out of your chest (when hopes are the highest).

Were we all proven wrong this season about being 9-2, with a chance at a CCG berth? Yes.

But at the end of the day, when the opportunities are presented to us, we always find a way to screw it up. We will deserve whatever ranking we’re given.

Even if by some miracle we do get into Arlington, I am not getting my hopes up and would rather be pleasantly surprised than optimistic.
