B1G has 4 locked in: Oregon, tOSU, Indiana, Penn St
B12, MWC, ND will get 1 each
ACC gets 2 for sure, but could get 3 if SMU wins. Other two being Miami and 2 loss Clemson, who will move up to 12 this week, possibly 11, if they jump boise after their close win at Wyoming. This is devastating for the B12. B12 is being treated as a G5, not only by committee, but public perception.
So, that leaves 2 or 3 spots for SEC. Crazy it's that low!! Texas in regardless, imo. GA is probably in regardless now. The committee will then have to decide between Giving the last spot to Tennessee or shifting it to ACC in Clemson. I think they lean Tennessee, just to ensure ACC doesn't have more than sec.
Here's my predicted seeds after all is said and done:
- tOSU
- Texas
- SMU
- Boise
- Oregon
- Penn State
- Notre Dame
- Indiana
- Georgia
- Miami
- Tennessee
- Iowa State
