Iowa state has always sucked at football. Matt Campbell finally brought some success to the program, but peoples biggest complaint about him in Ames is he can’t take them “over the edge”

He can’t go undefeated, he can’t win a conference championship, he can’t beat big teams when it matters

Sure he’s great, but he can’t bring Iowa state to the kind of heights they want to get to. We’re fine with that in Cyclone nation because we’ve never been to heights.

BYU has been to heights, but they seem fine with a coaching staff who can’t deliver more heights which is weird to me. And miss me with the “9-2 is pretty good!” Starting 9-0 then losing 2 straight is really really bad.
