ASUs last 4th down throw out of bounds was from the BYU 49. Leavitt threw the ball from the ASU 41.
Intentional grounding is a loss of down and ball placed where the QB threw the ball from, which would have been the ASU 41. But we got the ball back at the BYU 49. Therefore, it was not called.
Had it been called or an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, Kalani would have given Ferrin a chance from 58ish or 53 yards to tie it up.
Unbelievable they didn't give ASU a penalty for either one.
