Beggar Intervention Needed
Kalani and his staff consistently show up unprepared in big spots
Think of the last two weeks.

Think of must-wins to get bowl eligible at the end of last year.

Think at Oregon, Notre Dame and Arkansas in 2022

Think Boise State and Baylor in 2021

2020 Coastal Carolina

There have been many more wins and many more losses along the way, but in “money games” BYU always seems flat, unprepared, and not ready to rise to the occasion. Sure recruiting and talent have something to do with it, but the game preparation, strategy and, most of all execution, fall flat all too often.

This starts at the top. There is something that doesn’t quite click with Kalani and his staff. The sense of urgency isn’t there. The discipline to execute isn’t there. They’ve thrown away way too many great opportunities for it to be bad luck.

When was the last time BYU came out in one of these games and looked like the more prepared team? Made you say “wow, the boys came ready to play tonight”?

As a long suffering fan it sucks.
