We notice examples (Michael Jordan) of it working, but the number of athletes manufacturing anger/disrespect and then not winning or even performing well is very, very high.
Conversely, some athletes win it all without pretending like they have some beef with somebody.
It is all just funny to me. You mad, bro?
My favorite is when the CLEAR and over-dog, the MVP winner, the freaking Lakers, Dodgers, Alabama, Patriots-types win and start talking about how "everybody doubted them." De-lu-lu.
