Rules question that I thought about. During Kansas’ pooch punt the receiver was
engaged with the DB. Couldn’t that be “kick catch interference” or even “forced touching”
In my reading of the rules the forced touching would have been disregarded because BYU next tried to touch the ball. But the receiver was making contact with the BYU player who “could have” made the catch.
