This may be well known, but Blaine Fowler said Jake was playing injured against
Kansas. If true, and I have no reason to think it isn't, it would help explain why his play was not up to expectations last Saturday. It doesn't mean Jake playing hurt was the only reason we lost, but we did lose by only a single touchdown, and one could argue that if Jake threw one fewer interceptions, we win that game.
