not saying there was only one bad thing): Strategically we played the game like a team that was a heavy underdog against an opponent with an amazing offense. In those games, you shorten the game by controlling the ball on super long drives, you keep it close and you hope your defense does well enough and the ball bounces your way to enable you to pull off an upset. We needed more possessions on offense and we needed to run them faster. It may have been a higher scoring game overall, but I'd have liked our chances better and maybe it wouldn't have come down to a fluky punt hitting one of our guys in the helmet.
That said, I think we should have seen signs and known we were going to lose at least one game. And we still control our own destiny.
As I said last week before the game, we are playing with house money at this point. And it is still true.
