Watching game at stadium versus on TV I have to admit is superior, especially being able to see entire field. Only negative are close up views of certain plays. LES camera crew notorious of not providing great close up of controversial plays. With that being said.

#1 Our offensive line struggled with RPO run blocking. I’ve never been a big fan of RPO offenses. I like formations where you can pass or run the ball, however, I don’t like the shift from a pass to a run being decided mid play because often a bad read or the line simply struggles adjusting from blasting a block to opening up a hole for the RB but then needing to fall back and protect or the reverse. I’ve noticed our running attack is just mediocre from just giving the RB a down hill start before hitting the correct running lane. OL can also attack versus being passive. Too many times Arod lets Retzl change plays or try and run out of that formation on first down and often Kansas was not fooled. One to three yard games on first don’t cut it.

#2. Why is Retz playing if he’s injured and I don’t care if it’s his left shoulder. His long passes were way off. If your non-throwing shoulder is injured it will still affect your longer throws. As we watched last night. Let Gary B have some reps in those cases.

#3. Time clock management. Again, lining up on wrong formation, issues getting play called, having to call early half time outs can kill you. Also not using time outs at critical times like that 4th and 7 near the end zone before the illegal motion call. But again we didn’t call timeout on 4th and 13 to make sure Retz and WRs understood you have to get a first down or TD no matter what! Unacceptable throwing it short and running routes short of first or TD.

#4. Defense was fine for most of game. One big bungle, not putting safety’s back deeper on surprise punt. Looked like man coverage and it hurt us on that play. And that was terrible fumble recovery by our safety when they noticed it was a fumble.

#5. Whole team looked a bit flat from previous game. Big let down after rivalry game win. Sounded like poor week of practice. Gotta figure out how to keep your guys focused coaches.
