I was sitting right above the south end zone 15 yard line where we had first and 10 at the end of the game.

I cannot believe we ran the ball three straight times! The two minute time out and Kansas timeouts killed the momentum and flow we had with the two previous runs that got us to the 15. We were playing like scoring a touchdown was the equivalent of a chip shot field goal. Also, I don't love running option that close to the end zone and running it to the short side of the field was ridiculous. The drive was great until we got to the 15 and then the staff got too cute. Unbelievable!

Everyone is going to rightfully be upset at the offense and the coaching staff. Outside of what I think was only two possessions, we moved the ball fairly well. I don't know why we don't run tempo more often. Jake seems to be in a better flow.

I thought the defense played really well. There were a few blown coverages, but overall to give up 17 points with 7 of them coming from a miracle turnover is really impressive. Watching it live, it felt like Batty was held constantly.

I was impressed with how many fans were in their seats 30 minutes before kickoff. It's a great environment. Just wish we would get really loud before the opposing team is calling their play in the huddle.

Finally, I heard in some post game comments that the players will have more urgency. I would understand that in a typical BYU season but YOU ARE 9-0 and have a real shot at Ann undefeated season, something BYU hasn't done in 40 years. If I were a player I'd only be spending time to make sure preparation is such that we can't say anything but we left it all on the field. More importantly, it's a huge miss from the coaching staff to not motivate the players to be perfect in their process and in practice.

Probably wouldn't be saying this if Robinson falls on the ball or if Pay doesn't cause a team false start on 3rd and 6. We had our opportunities.

This doesn't take away from what this team has accomplished compared to expectations and it's been awesome to cheer them on. I just hope they recognize how unique this opportunity is over the next 2-3 weeks.
