The superfluous timeout
4th and 3 @ Kansas 17 with 3 timeouts and 4:30 left in the 3rd quarter.

Coaches are indecisive and burn a timeout to kick what should have always been a field goal without any discussion.

There should have been zero confusion on what the call would be in that situation if you didn't get the 1st down. Game tied at 10 deep into the 3rd quarter, you take the points and don't risk turning the ball over without getting points on that drive.

Muffed "fake" punt
4th and 14 @ BYU 36 with 12:23 left in the 4th quarter.

Fake play punt hits BYU player and Robinson whiffs on smothering the ball, giving Kansas prime field position at the BYU 3.

Maybe was just extreme dumb luck for Kansas, but not covering an somewhat uncontested ball on the grass is painful. We've had some bounces go our way so it happens I guess.

False start
4th and 6 @ Kansas 11 with 1:40 with 1 timeout left in the 4th quarter.

False start pushing us back to the 16 for 4th and 11. Only 8 yards on subsequent play.

Such a bizarre breakdown coming at the worst time. And then we throw short of the sticks on a critical do or die down.
