at managing the game. High school coaches can get plays called so you don't blow timeouts early in the game or lose 5 yards at critical times for delay of game. I’ve never seen a team do this consistently like BYU does under ARod. It was actually better today. But that will cost you a critical game at some point. That is an easy process to fix.

He made some questionable play calls but the third down option run to the short side of the field was a play that a teenager who watches the game on tv a lot would not have called. It makes no sense at all. Stupid.

KS makes worse decisions on clock management than an average high school coach would make. He just is not ready to make tough calls under pressure. That’s not his strength. Someone needs to help him.

I don’t want to overreact to one loss. We ran out of luck. Defense was great except for some really bad luck on the pooch kick. Offense was bad again and this was not a good defense they faced. They need to get better fast or they will lose a couple more soon I think.
