How do schools like Washington, Oregon, and especially SMU plan to survive
taking so much less money for so long? SMU took $0 to go to the ACC. They’re 9-1 and can’t fill their stadium. I don’t see them with the boosters to keep them competitive. Washington and Oregon could have the booster money to keep them competitive, but Rutgers, Maryland, and Nebraska took long term deals at less than full share and have all sucked since.

I think SMU is completely screwed. Good thing they’re having a great year this year because it can’t last.
