Who do we want to win this weekend between ASU and K-State? And why?
My initial thoughts were K-State because they are already a top 25 team and anything that makes them look stronger also strengthens our resume. However…
ASU has been coming on strong recently. Currently 7-9 (same record as K-State) and tied for 3rd in the conference (with 4 teams) at 4-2. They’re currently just outside of the top 25 and have been getting votes. I think an away win at K-State would be enough to put them in the top 25, which also bodes well for us. We’ll be playing AT ASU nest week and an away win over ASU as another top 25 team would REALLY help our résumé. Likewise, if we don’t win, them being a top 25 team could maybe cushion a loss a little?
That being said, the big question is if ASU wins do they move up to the top 25? If so, I think that is the better outcome for us. Your thoughts?
