POLL: Being drunk excuses a person to some extent from the consequences of his actions.
I see this idea a lot from certain segments of the population, how So-and-so was drunk when he did This Here Bad Thing and so therefore should be shown some mercy or restraint in response to what he did. What do you think? Does being intoxicated (with alcohol or anything else) mitigate the judgment against the intoxicated person, to any degree?
