Have done my same good luck routine, including watching the game in the same place, for Southern Illinois, Wyoming, Kansas State, Baylor, Arizona, and UCF. We convincingly took care of business in each of these (although I did leave to get food during the Baylor game and then they started coming back).

I was unable to do my good luck routine or watch the game in the same place for all of the close scary games: SMU (I went to the game), Oklahoma State (Traveling), Yewtah (Traveling). But I was at least watching the games.

This coming Saturday, not only will I not be able to do my good luck routine and watch it from the same good luck place, I have to go to my sister in law's concert, and will not even be able to watch the game. (Concert begins an hour and a half before kickoff, but will be a little over 2 hours long. Plus we are driving 1.5 hours to see the concert and then driving back home afterwards). I have tried to get out of it, but the whole extended in-law side of the family is in town to see the concert and we are all going together. There will probably be all sorts of talking after the show, catching up, etc. If anything I will catch the very tail end of the game.

So, judging from my track record, it does not look good. We need every good luck charm and rabbits foot brought forward to counteract my inability to help this week in the luck department.
