The house next to one has had no one living in it for about 5 years. I mow the front lawn because it would be terribly overgrown. I looked up tax records and know it’s not owned by a bank. Every few months there is a car that pulls right up on the lawn to front steps and it stays there for a day or two.

The backyard has not been touched in 5 years- huge weed, and trees growing all over and rats are living back there. There are no utilities to the house. I called the cops the last time a car was there- they came and knocked but no one came. I know the chances they are cooking meth are pretty high.

I called the city and they said there is nothing they can do about the back yard. I don’t mind mowing the front because it takes me 5 mins on my zero turn…the back yard is a hazard.

What do I do to get something done with the back yard? If they are aren’t cooking meth, I would love to buy the house and turn it into a rental.
