Let's be honest it's been an issue for a while but the Utah game was terrible in burning timeouts just to avoid delay of game penalties. Add the whole end of 2nd half debacle where we wasted 30 sec on a sub and waited 10 sec before actually calling our last timeout. I've never seen such incompetence in an attempt to spike the ball.

These seem like little things but they could've cost BYU the game.

Additionally frustrating to end the half like that just to come out of halftime on our 1st drive and burn a timeout on 3rd and long because the team couldn't get lined up with a play in time. Didn't feel like any adjustment was made at half.

I actually think Utah bailed out BYU by calling timeouts and giving BYU more time to make a plan on that final drive. Also helped that the Chase catch got reviewed. BYU needs to fix whatever is not working.

Has any more info come out on this? What was the issue getting the plays in on time?
