A big play from the Utah game was the long pass to Singer in the 2nd quarter. For everyone watching that play, it looked like a clear interception was coming. Rose threw into double-coverage and our safety misjudged the ball by inches. That play gave them momentum and they went on to score 21 in the quarter. Hill said it was the right defensive call, and that Rose threw it exactly where we wanted him to, #3 just took a bad angle. That ball is tipped or picked, and we are looking at a completely different game.
They say football is a game of inches and in this case, I totally agree.
