Retzlaff was looking Jojo's way. And if the flag was thrown before the sack then sorry Utah, that's just life when you play that aggressively. I'd be more sympathetic to Utah's cause if the flag came out really late.

Also, when I watched the game (for the first time) on the ESPN app, Utah got some lucky calls. For example, a call no one has talked about was Utah's 3rd and 1 from BYU's 30-yard line on their second TD drive. The pass went to Kuithe on the sidelines for an easy first down. The problem though is that this was offensive PI. It was a forward pass and the Utah WRs were already blocking our DBs about7-8 yards ahead of where Kuithe caught the ball before he even caught the ball. Call that correctly and it's 3rd and 16 from the 45 yard line with BYU leading 10-7.

Obviously the face mask call that wasn't a face mask is also a huge play. So instead of facing 2nd and 20 from their own 45, Utah has a first down near BYU's 30 yard line.

Both those were big swings and a big part of Utah's 21-point second quarter.
