Even though they still have a very good defense and a not so good offense, they are losing games at an alarming rate. Outlook not good for the rest of the season for the yewts. That's too bad.
So maybe this is Whitt's final season. One of these days the U will announce that Whitt is retiring and Scalley is taking over. Or is the administration actually going to open the job up and find a superstar head coach? Maybe so.
In any case, without Whitt the program seems likely to decline. Not necessarily of course. But probably won't be what it was with a very good and established head coach.
Meanwhile it now appears that BYU football is on the rise. This has turned into a very nice season. A little more and we can call it a great year. Can Kalani keep that going. Despite the naysayers opinions?
Seems like just maybe the yewts are on the decline and BYU is taking off and will dominate the Yewties for years to come. Hope that is the case anyway.
The yewts simply cannot stand losing to BYU. How sweet it is.
