Harlan went off on the conference, it appeared that was just a disgruntled Ute fan thing. Whittingham's remarks about not being in the same conference with BYU in five years and Harlan's ripping the conference shows that this attitude originates at the top (I don't think President Randall feels that way, but, who knows?).

I don't believe there is even one program in the Big XII (although BYU might try to be the peacemaker) that would be up in arms if the conference allowed the Utes to exit after this year without paying an exit fee. Let the bums leave and go back to their beloved PAC 12 where they might be able to run that conference. No one in the Big XII would miss them for even one minute.
