Yes, fewer SEC and B10 teams in the CFP please.
#4 Miami @ Georgia Tech (W) — DONE!
Michigan (W) @ No. 8 Indiana — Michigan isn't great (4 Ls), but they will be the toughest team Indiana has played. If Indiana loses here, the loser of the Indiana/tOSU games most likely moves out of the top 10. That helps BYU and may help sneak another B12 team in.
No. 3 Georgia (W) @ No. 16 Ole Miss — Georgia hasn't looked great lately, but they can beat the Rebels. I feel good about Ole Miss getting a 3rd loss – eliminating an SEC team from the CFP.
Florida State (W) @ No. 10 Notre Dame — This one isn't realistic, but I hold out hope that FSU decides to show up (in theory they have the athletes and ND did lose to NIU at home). ND's only 'tough' game comes at the end of the season – USC (a team with 5 losses... that also beat LSU). This may be the only time I root for FSU.
#11 Alabama @ #15 LSU (W) — It almost doesn't matter who wins here. The loser is eliminated. LSU finishes with 3 teams with winning records (@Florida, OU and Vandy) and Bama only plays one (@OU). So, maybe we want LSU to win here, then hope they lose at Florida. This could move Alabama and LSU out of contention for a B12 spot.
Washington (W) @ No. 6 Penn State — This game will be similar to the Indiana game. A 4 loss struggling squad that may have enough talent to put together a good game against a team that has beaten a bunch of patsies. Penn State may have a loser's hangover from last week. Hopefully, UW puts something together.
BYU still controls their destiny, but may need a little help. Getting two B12 teams into the CFP would be awesome.
