It’s the Utah defense, not offense, that could surprise BYU this week and win
them the game. Their offense lost their OC, they aren’t very good at QB today, they are down a key OL, etc. we need to big time limit any big plays from their offense, because it’s likely they won’t get more than a few sustained drives. It’s also unlikely that they’ll be able to implement too many new things successfully with that offensive cast simply due to the bye weeK—Whitt doesn’t coach offense. BUT, defensively, Whitt could install a whole new system (or try), he can and will through a lot of different looks at our offense, etc. and if the BYU offense gives up any critical turnovers, it may just take 1 or 2 for Utah to get the win. I see this being close because it will be a defensive showing. 16-14 BYU.
