We all know LJ Martin is the starting RB, yet there are 5 other backs, 3-4 of whom won't even get in the game, who are listed as "or" with LJ.

Why do they do this? Is it to not hurt feelings and discourage players by placing them low on the depth chart? Honestly asking if anyone knows the reasoning behind this.
