It is VERY fun to see a high ranked team, however it has little with BYU getting a spot.

BYU likely gets a spot in one of these two ways. (other than going undefeated)

None of these two scenarios is ranking going to be a problem (IMO).

1) Lose a game or two but win CCG.
2) Win out and lose CCG

A 1 loss BYU team having lost only the CCG would be very hard to keep out.

Each game will be hard. Every team they play til the end of the year will coming for them with high level preparation.

Hopefully they finish better than season 8 of game of thrones.
