Let me say a few things up front.

I’m from SCal and have been a Dodger fan my whole life. Through the dark days of 89-05 win we never won a playoff game. Not some bandwagon guy.

I believe owners should pay players more.

This is my take. I feel like history has shown throughout sports you can’t buy championships and it’s a complaint by losing fans. (See TX, Giants 3 in 5, both Marlins WS and the Dodgers’ 17, 18 and 20 WS appearances just for starters)

I also believe a salary cap doesn’t prevent dynasties. Lakers, Bulls, Heat, Chiefs, Patriots are recent/recentish examples in the NBA and NFL.

Try as people may on my other SM accounts, they can’t take away from my joy of my team winning the WS. I am curious though of others POV here. I find CBers a little more level headed when it comes to sports debates, at least outside of BYU athletics lol.
