Is it just me, or do kids nowadays not take trick-or-treating as seriously?
I know I'm a bit late with the post Halloween discussion. But I was just thinking about how seriously we took trick or treating. It was all business after 5pm. The name of the game was all about how many doors can I knock before Mom says I have to come home.

Nowadays, it seems like my kids and their friends are way more interested in socializing than in getting a large amount of candy. Every time they knock on a door of someone they know, they wanna talk for 5 minutes.

Which is fine, it's just not how I or my friends were when we were kids.
