mid-2010s, or else that they're tired of the Jazz being so bad. The fact is that if the Jazz are truly one of the bottom five teams in the NBA this season, it will be the second time since Deron Williams was drafted that they finish with bottom seven NBA lottery odds. Last season was their second-worst finish in the NBA standings since DWill was drafted, and they had a .500 record on FEBRUARY SIXTH. I think last season was the start of the worst three year stretch by the Jazz since the early 80s, and it'll be interesting to see how some Jazz fans that don't seem to understand that it is normal and often necessary to be bad occasionally handle it.
Here are the Jazz's finish in the "tank standings" every year that they missed the playoffs since Deron Williams was drafted:
2024 - 8th
2023 - 9th
2016 - 12th
2015 - 11th
2014 - 4th
2013 - 16th
2011 - 13th
2006 - 16th
