They started out great.

Baylor averages 176 rushing ypg. Utah held them to 108 yards. Take from it what you will as Baylor made some big changes on offense after this game and has been playing much better ever since.

OkSt averages 111 ypg. Utah held them to 48. OkSt has been very up and down this year.

That was the good. Now we get to the 4 game losing streak:

Zona averages 129 ypg, they rushed for 161 vs Utah.

ASU averages 208 ypg, they rushed for 176 vs Utah.

TCU averages 103 ypg, they rushed for 132 vs Utah.

Houston averages 147 ypg, they rushed for 230 vs Utah.


BYU averages 168 ypg. That's a number that's been trending up as of late now that Martin and Ropati are back to full health: 252 vs UCF and 255 vs OkSt compared to 147 vs Zona and 149 vs Baylor. UCF is only giving up 132 ypg on the ground, which is slightly better than Utah's 134 ypg they give up.



Utah's only chance is to stop the run and make us one dimensional. This BYU offense is too balanced right now for that to happen.
