Who knows. Lots of people anointing Kanon right now based on the two exhibitions. The national pre-season stats experts favored Dawson. I don't think anyone had Richie as likely to be the guy until these exhibitions, but with his experience in Big12 play it seems possible he might know how to sustain that level.
We'll see with Kanon once the competition steps up, how his body holds up, whether his D is good enough to keep him on the floor, if he can be consistent, etc. It's pretty rare even for the most highly touted freshmen to lead their high level D1 teams in scoring. That would be rather shocking. Lots of question marks.
Probably right now, we'd have to honestly say Richie or Dawson are the likely guys still to keep that highest nightly average through conference play. But I really like what Kanon is showing us and if he's that good it's awesome.
Knell will certainly get hot and lead us on some nights, but we also know he struggles with consistency and there probably isn't enough in the rest of the game to be the leading guy. But he'll get his, probably be in the top half of points contributors. I'd look at he or Fouss to be the #4 scorers maybe after the above three.
