For 10 years EVERYTHING went their way. It was mindboggling that there was no re-balancing of the karmic scales. I mean, even when they were mediocre, the rest of their conference performed so poorly that it made them appear to be special. Coming into this season, every Ute fan out there believed they were invincible...that this was their season...that the playoff was guaranteed...and that the national championship was a realistic possibility.

But the universe was keeping receipts the whole time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to correct itself when it would hurt the most. Then to pour salt in the wound, it set BYU up with a dream season of their own.

Now, the Utes, rather than take their medicine and accept their place in the universe, are self-destructing. Inflicting more pain on their season, fans, donors, and future, than they have to. Rumors of police reports and locker room fisticuffs.
