Like every BYU fan, our success leads me wanting more. I've been a BYU fan for a long time and have seen so many seasons of WHAT IF take a turn for the worst after showing so much promise. One of the hardest things in sports is STAYING IN THE MOMENT. We all want to look at the future possibilities:

WHAT IF... we beat Utah
WHAT IF... we win the B12 our second year
WHAT IF... we make it to the playoffs
WHAT IF... we win another national championship - 40 years is a long time to wait 😉

In my life, the further out I put my focus, the worse I perform. Conversely, the shorter my focus, the better the results. There is something true in the principle of staying present and in the moment. Focusing on a win today will help us have a better chance of winning tomorrow. The hope of tomorrow is wonderful, but will never come without a dedicated, passionate, relentless focus on RIGHT NOW! WHAT IF .. we won TODAY!
