We either improve from OSU or we don’t. The players and coaches know what mistakes were made and what needs to be done to address them. We either do or we don't fix things.
As far as traveling time zones, trap games, or playing in Florida, that is all completely irrelevant to the game at hand. BYU has won at UConn, GT, MSU, Cincy, MTSU, GASo, etc. We’ve lost our fair share but it isn’t at all disproportionate. We have also won two straight in FL. So all the superstitious stuff is irrelevant.
UCF came off a heart breaker so it could either be deflated or motivated. I guarantee after its ground performance that the BYU isn’t looking past it. Therefore it isn’t a trap game, in fact, we are the underdog.
Ultimately it comes down to whether the talent we have can game plan and execute. Plain and simple. If we are prepared, assignment sound, and don’t turn the ball over more than once, we have every reason to be confident.
