He’s had his ups and downs. His stats have been all over the board from game to game. But the most important stats are availability and W/L. And he’s perfect in those two areas. Hes had help from the D and special teams but at the end of seven games he’s stayed healthy and won every game.
I think the key to the season falls on Jake staying healthy and playing within himself while not turning over the ball.
When he’s done that the team excels. When he tries to do to much rolling out and forcing throws across his body late, he throws picks.
The special season will come down to him being the Trent dilfer of the 2000 Baltimore ravens.
I’ve been hesitant to jump on board the retzlaff train, but now I’m all in if he can do what he does while protecting the football.
