Reading my November nat geo about AI applications is interesting
They are using it to review terabytes of data from telescopes to find promising earth like exoplanets which human effort could never do.

AI can review brain tissue and identify the type of brain tumors with 90% accuracy (compared to humans at 84%) and in a fraction of the time so that at the same as the biopsy they can excise dangerous ones.

AI can read CT scans of delicate or even burned texts and scrolls that would disintegrate if handled, which potentially can unlock libraries of previously unreadable texts from all over the ancient world.

They have hovered drones over whales and had AI analyze their language and sounds coupled with behavior, to where it’s predicted with 99% accuracy the next sound, indicative of complex language, and have applied the method to other species, for example to find out when a chicken is expressing that it feels sick.

AI has been hooked into seismometers in California to where a computer will be able to automatically warn of an impending earthquake up to an hour in advance within a few years.

I’m sure they will be able to apply this to human behavior at some point and predict all kinds of things about us.
