I still think he isn't a disciplinarian and is probably too loyal to his coaches.
But maybe I underestimated how big of a disadvantage he was at with budget, recruiting, etc., when it came to not being in a P5 conference. Maybe he did the best he could with the situation he was given. How do you recruit against Utah when they are a P5 and have a much large budget? How do you recruit when you playing UMass at home in November?
How do you get the coaches you want when they literally isn't a budget to get them? How do you expand your recruiting staff without additional money? And who would they recruit anyways with the other restrictions?
Maybe Kalani deserves a totally clean slate that erases everything before being the B12. I'm on the fence with that one.
