How you have to look at the SEC and Big 10 losses...
Basically losses to the top 5-7 teams don't count as losses. In other words, the following do not count:
-Georgia losing to Alabama
-Texas losing to Georgia
-Ohio St losing to Oregon
-Alabama losing to Tennessee (for now)
-Clemson losing to Georgia
-Mississippi losing to LSU (for now)
-Florida losing to Miami (for now)

However the following do count as losses:
-Tennessee losing to Arkansas
-Alabama losing to Vandy (despite what Saban says)
-LSU losing to USC
-Mississippi losing to Kentucky
-ND losing to N Illinois

The following game might also not count as a loss depending on how ND does the rest of the season:
-Texas A&M losing to ND

This also means that if Indiana only loses to Ohio State (later this season) that will not count as a loss unless Ohio St completely unravels which is unlikely. IMHO, Indiana & ND are BYU's biggest threats to not making the playoff along with a 2nd ACC team.

Please note that any loss that BYU has WILL count as a loss unless it's to an undefeated Iowa St team in the conference championship (or perhaps if Colorado runs the table the rest of the way and is the "hot" team). At this point BYU pretty much has to win the Big XII championship game to make the playoffs or hope for a lot more chaos and at least make the CCG even if they lose.

In other words, roots against the following teams:
Alabama
Notre Dame
Indiana
Tennessee
LSU
Texas A&M
Miami,Fl
Clemson
